  3. The "MoviePlayer Playme" movie is designed to give you a brief summary of tips and techniques for Apple's MoviePlayer. To help the movie run well, there is very little video content, it is mainly made up of multiple text tracks.

  5. Requirements:

  7. In order to play the movie, you will need the following installed on your Mac:

  9. • QuickTime 2.5 or greater
  10. • MoviePlayer 2.5 or greater (part of the QuickTime 2.5 'Easy Install')
  11. • It is best viewed in Thousand of Colours. (The number of colours displayed can be set in the Monitors or Monitors and Sound Control Panel, depending on what type of Mac you
  12.  have).

  14. (If you don't already have QuickTime 2.5 installed on your Mac you will find the installer in the Resources folder of the MacFormat Cover CD).

  16. How the movie was made:

  18. The graphics for the movie were made in Adobe Photoshop 3.0.5.
  19. Lindsay Bruce made the 3D MacFormat logo in Strata Studio Pro.
  20. The text tracks were made by dragging and dropping text from Stickies into the movie.
  21. All the other editing was carried out in MoviePlayer.
